WELCOME:
You are in command of the ragtag US armies during the American Revolutionary War 1775-1783. The object of the game is to fight off British forces and control enough cities to be able to claim independence.
To have a chance to seize the top spot in the Hall of Fame you need to skillfully encircle scores of enemy units and try to keep your military machine in working order with the meager resources at your disposal. Hostile events include raids by Iroquois warriors, uprisings by loyalist units, and Hessians and British forces landing on your shores.
Cities provide supply to units, while Plantations provide Gold which is needed for various purchases. New militia units can be formed from Minutemen locations still at your control. Any attacking unit needs to be located nearby a movable Ammo Depot, which can be created from Armories.
VICTORY CONDITIONS:
The game is over if:_+ You control over 130 Victory Points (VPs), or_+ You have less than 10 VPs.
QUICK TIPS: Settings: You can change hexagon size, city icons, unit icons, and many other aspects from settings, or via the four round buttons in the upper-left corner of the gaming view. Unit markings: Lower left corner shows HPs (Hit Points), upper left corner shows the number of MPs (move points), right side has several type of markings: warnings on red, attached resources on white, ground information (what's under unit icon) is marked on green. Zooms buttons (Z) are located on upper-left corner. Combat core concepts: adjacent units critically support each other in battle; encircling is often more efficient than using brute-force direct attacks.
CAMPAIGN NOTES:
American side receives some resources at the start, some of those resources are set, some random.
Keeping the income (gold from plantations) as high as possible will have a big effect in long term: 2 pieces of gold more per 50 turns means extra 100 pieces of gold at your disposal.
The obvious challenge in designing this scenario is that a highly skilled player who aces everything in the first 20 turns might finish the game prematurely, before the core mechanics like British landings and rebellions even come into play. We've implemented mechanisms to prevent unrealistically fast victories, but there's a limit to how much historical accuracy can be bent. So, don't be discouraged by a hyper-quick victory you see online – most players won't be able to break the game and will experience the historically accurate, long-lasting war the scenario is designed for. This is one of those game design dilemmas: a brilliant player can create a positive feedback loop where victories snowball into self-feeding cycle of success.
Some slightly incorrect military-history terms (like Fort for minor dugouts) are used simply because they are short (map won't be flooded with long text tags) and these terms are known to even non-native English speakers.

Some of the newer code mentions 'province', but since this small-scale game does not include actual provinces with borders, this usually implies to hexagons within the range of two from the city.
Keep your games updated! Updates add features, fix issues, optimize performance, balance campaigns, and reset outdated scores. With tiny 1 MB games, updates ensure everyone uses the latest version, making feedback relevant. Enable auto-updates in Store settings for convenience.
BUG REPORTS:
Since this series supports 20,000 Android devices and countless settings and strategies, it’s impossible to test every combination. If you spot anything off, just tap my pic on the main screen to send me an email.
